NII release money on last day , so it may go around 8 to 10 times . Retail portion looks like May go around 2 times . You may apply . In case u do not want heavy allotment but safe quantity ,apply for 150 shares only ,which stands very good allotment chances with new allotment rules for retail.
this time subscription is very less.. in 2010 almost same size issue was oversubscribed overall 14 times till last day .. this year very poor response in QIB category..
hi.. wen i m applying via ASBA in sbbjonline for 2100 shares it is taking cut off but when i am applying for 2250 shares it is going for bidding at 90 and in the next step it is blocking 1,92,375 so i wanted to be double sure that i do not fall in the institutional category... i want to be in the retail domestic category..
Applying for 90 or cutoff are one and same , only thing u should ensure that retail category option is ticked in your application . Discount of 4.50 is being allowed in application . If this discount was to be allowed after allotment then 2100 was to be applied in retail. MUST check that application is ticked for retail in online portal.
hi guys i have a serious doubt... shud i apply for 2250 shares or for 2100 shares... via SBBJ ASBA online facility...i mean i dont want to be considered in the category for NII / DII .. i want that 4.5 INR discount... please help guys
I just want to ask that now when it is fully subscribed in total but if retail portion is not fully subscribed then the cut off price will be 90 or 85.
Cutoff price is always higher band ,I.e. 90 in case of power grid . This facility is available to retail investors only ,which they must avail . Final price decided will be applicable to these applications too. Say if final price is decided 88 the same will be applicable to cut off bids also and balance 2/ will be adjusted or refunded.
Sorry Actually i was asking about final price. If it is subscribed in full but retail category is not fully subscribed on upper band then what will be the final price, will it be calculated taking all bids in consideration or category wise.
Retail undersubscribed or oversubscribed has nothing to do with pricing , only allotment is effected . Full as applied for undersubscribed and proportionate for oversubscribed . Price is decided in consultation with QIB &NIB ,who quote their own rates within price brand .that''s why retail is allowed cit off bids by paying higher band price with an understanding ,whatever price declared is acceptable.
Dear Monty, As per new IPO allotment rules , it is demand calculated as per # og applications made in each portion of retail . You will find 150 share lot will get 90% application of total retail application ,so allotment will be good in 1 lot application . Will suggest u to apply for 150 shares in cut off only . Even if rates declared is 90 , u will get shares @85.50 after adjusting retail discount . This is less then 52 week low of 86.50 .
NICE FPO LESS CHANCES OF GETTING DOWN NICE BOOK VALUE AND PE RATIO MR M GUPTA IS PASSING WRONG THING YOU CAN SEE PASR 6 YEAR RECORD OF POWER GRID AND ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION 9416630338

Be ready to get loooooted and koooooooted in power greed fpo. Dhany hai is desh ke log jo har baar mòorkh banane ko taiyaar rahte hai. Govt is maintaining cash market price of powergrid and future is trading at big discount. Once full delivery comes share will get kooted to 80 and long term target 50. After 5 year they will buy back the same for 50 rs.
If u wish to apply at cut off ,90/ may apply for 2100 shares only. If u wish to apply @85/ price bid may go for 2250 shares . But is price declared 85.10 ,or more ,your application will be rejected
I have applied thru Hdfc ASBA. I bid for 2250 shares at Rs.90.The system block only Rs 192375 at Rate of Rs 85.50. My bid has successfully executed. Order book shows bid for 2250 shares also written on ASBA Retail on Hdfc u can apply 2250 shares
Dear Vinod , You are correct .For ASBA application they are blocking amount after adjusting discount of 4.50 ,so they are allowing 2250 shares application for retail. They will release money on receipt of shares in your demat account ,which will be credited with discount . This I have checked at ICICI online portal also . In case of paper application yo have to make payment in full ,as discount will be released on allotments.
