TENTATIVE FOR Mahanagar Gas planning to launch IPO in third week of June.

The company and its merchant bankers are looking at a timeline of 20-22 June for the IPO, with the anchor book placement on 17 June. the share sale is expected to fetch a total of around Rs.1,200 crore.

On Charts, HCL Tech is presently trading below of 20 EMA, 50 DMA and 200 DMA. It has fallen on 31st May with very very huge volume approx 15 M shares. From last 3 days it is falling only. if this type of fall continues then MACD will also give SELL signal in next 2-3 days. Very short term will be bearish for sure.

725 is the throw away price for hcl tech... Jst buy and hold it for few months..

Ace investor Porinju V Veliyath on Wednesday bought 1.3 lakh shares of Emkay Global Financial Services. According to bulk deal data on the NSE, he bought the shares of Emkay Global Financial at an average price of Rs 56.93. This roughly represents 0.55 per cent of the equity capital of the stock broking firm. Porinju has identified several mid-cap stocks such as Gokaldas Exports and Biocon that have given smart returns in the recent past.

At 11:01 hrs Emkay Global has formed a gap up chart pattern today. A Gap Up forms when the low for the day is higher than the previous days high.

Fresh issue of shares to raise Rs 60 crore ($8.8 million); offer for sale of 3.1 million shares by promoters; 0.5 million shares by Kotak Private Equity and 0.85 million shares by other shareholders.

Financials
The company doubled its revenues between FY11 to FY13 to Rs 240 crore and net profit almost tripled in the same period to Rs 49.1 crore. However, the firm has faced growth pangs since then. It grew 8.6 per cent the following year even as its profit more than halved. In the year ended March 31, 2015, its revenues actually slid to Rs 223.1 crore but it posted a record profit of Rs 50 crore last fiscal. In the first six months of the current year, it posted sales of Rs 138.8 crore with a net profit of Rs 35.1 crore. This shows on an annualised basis it is back to the growth track.

Investors
Kotak Private Equity had invested Rs 30 crore in the firm in mid 2012. It is now offloading around half of it.

So they r looking at 30 PE valuation approx which IMO is fair for high margin company

I hear that they are expecting a valuation of 2100 cr with about 80 cr PAT in FY16 which I think is a good valuation...26x PE

Dear Septaji,Eagle eyeji, and other respected board members, something interesting. In 2011 during July august we had two IPOs. L&T fin and Future venture. LNTF was oversubscribed 9 times RI while other was only 60% RI subscribed. For Both listing was dull. LNTF is still struggling to double even if it making profit. While other is born in debt and now doubled even in debt. Why market behaves like this? Is it beauty of Indian stock market?

REC shows great show today...one may consider quickheal and prabhat dairy for midimum term..they have label of"fundamentally weak stocks" but who cares?? Just grab it...mint money,also consider HCL technologies

I have taken position in KEI INDUSTRY numbers r looking good with good order book also EPC side of business has grown with eps of around 8 PE of 13 and management see a 35% growth also the MC IS Below 900 Cr on top on 600 cr. Plus Modi government looking at powering electricity rural India this will good bet.

PCL result was not that encouraging so IMO more pain on price side short term price may correct more however I am still bullish on long run.

Further, if the issue size is 600Crs ... then the pre-money valuation for the Company is is >2600+Crs. .. which is ridiculously high !!! (even if we assume PAT for FY15-16 @75-80Crs.)

Checked on their site, okay result :(

in comparison of last quarter sales increased marginally but profit dipped by nearly 3 crores i.e. nearly 25% ( last quarter profit was ~12 cr)

YOY profit increased by 7 cr, from 47 to 54 cr. BUT sales has been decreased by nearly ~15%.

PCL and Parag going in opposite direction!!
