Thanks Lokes for your statement. At last a response for tomorrow''s strategy. I have been alotted 2 lots, can hold for long. Intend to buy more. Could you please elaborate on the order placement strategy for tomorrow on listing. Thanks in advance.

@andi: if u want to buy more at whatever listing price, then simply place order at upper range in pre-open between 9 to 9.44am, you will see upper range in nse site or moneycontrol also i think or in your broker site. Your order will get executed at listing price after 9.45am.
it can even list above 2K or can go above 2k tomorrow or in 1-2 days or even double also. it got one of best ipo subscriptions ( as per actual amount) in all categories.

Lokes ... Thanks for your response. One more clarification. The UC you eluded to, is it the discovered price what the anchors speak in pre opening? I operate on icicidirect, am a pure play investor.

@andi: No idea about icici direct, may be someone else can help. Discovered price which you referring is listing price, upper range will be 2250 or more, you can see tomorrow. And since already you have two lots alloted so you can even wait for some downside in price to come after listing to add more, but not sure it will move down or not after listing, that depends on listing price too.

Lokes ...Great. Thanks once again. Will it be safe to put a purchase price of 2250 in pre-opening to get the order executed at listing price, whatever that be. I think 50-100 bucks down side expectation from listing price does not make big sense to me as I intend to hold for long. Am I on the right path?

@andi: yes it''s definitely safe, your purchase price will be listing price only, no matter how much high price you put for buy in preopen. You will see so many buy orders at upper range.
And buying in listing or waiting for dip, that you can decide as per your risk capacity, I already explained both scenerios above.

Earlier i was planning to sell at 1900 Rs. However, I will hold and wait to sell till Friday.

@suneel: ya u can decide as per listing price, means in case if listing is above 2k or if tomorrow itself 2k or 2100 comes after listing, then you can sell if short term view, and if listing is between 1800 to 1900 then you can wait for 2-3 days for 2k to come. I will hold atleast 1 lot for 6 months to 1 year or more and 1 lot I may sell if I get around 2100-2200 in some days.

I was alloted 38 Shares. Will sell 18 shares at 2100 Rs and will hold remaining 20 shares to go upto 3000 Rs.

I followed similar strategy in Paras. I got alloted 85 shares. Sold 50 shares at 525 Rs and remaining 35 shares at 975 Rs.

yes, we know what you will do, for sure ;)

Alotted 1 lot. My strategy will be:
If lists or goes below 1800 will buy more.
If goes near or above 2500 within 3-4 days will book profit partially and will wait for dip. And will buy more on dips.
In both ways my overall target will be to add more.
I think this is DMart kind of share. It will keep on improving themselves and buying business or assets. I missed Dmarts initial rally and made mistake. Not wanna repeat same here.
My belief is My non-existent girlfriend and others girlfriends will keep or make up items from Nykaa.

I was allotted 38 shares and holding them all, not selling any.
I don''t usually sell on listing. However In my past experience, in 80% cases when I sold on listing, share price has moved upwards.
Holding Nykaa for long term...

Infact Who Could Sell Near 2100rs, Can Think To Buy Again In 3-4 Parts Of Those Sold Quantities.

1st Part Btwn (2000 - 1980 Rs)
And 1 More Part For Every 200-250 Rs Dip.

As I explained yesterday for placing order at upper range to buy at any listing price, it''s same way placing order at lower range to sell at any listing price. Simple

Apparently this 562.50 looks to be 50% of lower price band. Very interesting why operators are looking at 50% down

2362 is 110% of 1125 Rs, upper end
562 is 50% of 1125 Rs, lower end

But how do we they arrive that 2018 is the listing price? Is it based on number of buy orders?

@lokes sir one doubt are the people placing sell order have shares in their demat or not, they would be selling at lower price no , confused

Lokes ....Good Morning. As discussed Y''day, I placed the order at 2,250 during pre open and the status is shown as executed. Trust the execution will be at listing place, what ever that may be.

Placing sell orders at 562.5 doesn''t mean they want to sell at that price, they just want to sell at any listing price. All preopen orders are executed at listing price (all orders placed between upper and lower range)
@suneel: listing price is calculated as equilibrium price considering all sell and buy orders at all prices, means buy orders were more here so listing price 2018.

yes I understand but by placing sell order at 562 , doesn''t the equilibrium price decrease, what advantage they have by doing this instead of placing sell order at 2000

And it crossed even 2100 also today as I said.

My order got executed @ 2001 at BSE since I selected BSE when placing the order at higher band.
Holding 3 alloted lot at IPO Price and and bought today 50 qty.
Will keep it for long term.Thanks.

Lokes ....Well, the icicidirect order book page still shows the value as 2,250/-, the value I keyed in while placing the order.

@andi: you can check in your portfolio/holdings etc , i dont have icicidirect so no idea. you might be seeing order value only.
100% it cant be 2250 , it will be NSE/BSE listing price only.
