446-selva raj- i hv account in karvy where no intraday is allowed on the first day of listing but short selling is very much allowed. Today when stock fell down to 254- i placed a short selling order at 255 and it accepted. But before execution, i cancelled the order since 6th sense was telling not to do at this level

@Sk dash,first of all u said there is no intraday to buy/sell by using your account on first day.then u said short selling is allowed!!!!!i cant get your point..are they allowing to do shorting or not on first day?

I bought Lovable 50 at 564 then exited at 573..but i tried to short after that..i was not able to by using my IIFl account.please guide me which account i neeed to use for shortin of Z category.other categories I have no problems

I am using IIFL for trading.they are not allowing to do short of Z category group..we can buy that category only for the fund we have in trading account.so anybody please suggest me which brokerage company will allow us to short of Z category shares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As per your solution on query of 427. VenkatGG regarding stop loss
I also use sharekhan & face same problem we have only two prices option one is limit price & another is stop loss trigger price.
I also got same message wich venkatGG get when put the prices.

Subscription as well as expectation was a lot, but seems to be end with that 25-30% gain. There will be no HIGH rise and fall to get gain without allotment.

I bought 100 X 264 and sold 50 at 276 and other 50 at SL 263.15- no profit no loss ex-brokerage

Anybody doing intraday buy ? In my karvy account-on the first day- no intraday buy/sell, If to buy-then delivery but short selling is allowed

exited 2x48 at 257/-.

I am bit late in opening the trading platform. As usual, SBI gave me hige trouble. But I am happy to exit in profit.

Actually i did not understand your comments. Can you guide me little bit elaborate. My upper price limit is Rs.300 and lower price limit is Rs.250. I want to sell the shares if either of the price touches. Can you tell me how we can configure stop loss for this.

sold all shares @ 256.50

Next support appears to be 253. Trend is negative.

Sold 24 @ 270. Planning to hold the rest 23 for long term.
