What I felt its not a right way to pressurise or force someone who hve got a big chunk of script... to sold at particular price.. or not to put a sell order below that price. Its his own money and he is the only person who can use it in a best way.
I m very practical and straight forward about this thing. May b fellow members not going to like that.
At the time of nupur listing I also insisted @Anant not to sell on preopen. Later I realised its his money his choice. Today its Anant tomorrow if some other big fish of stock market joined us here. do we all going to insist like that. I guess Best course of action is to modify our strategy according to situation.

If its weak listing then IF POSSIBLE, we should also grab few extra lots in morning. *Applicable for a fundamentally sound company. *I missed today to add a lot in morning.
@Anantagg your selling shares showing in bulk deal with average selling price Rs.76.23.
There is a bulk buy deal also of qty 451200 at Rs. 75 by a LLP.

@ nourul,
as you are senior member of this group i have good respect for you, but with due respect why you thought that i am forcing anant to sell at some price.
I have written in previous post also that , i know its his money , he can do what ever he wants, he can even put sell order at 22.5 also......
Lokes also said directly to anant to remove sell order from 22.5....
Nothing against anyone, we are all here to learn and just discussing if he put order at higher price share listing price might be higher,,,
Though i am not also sure that how listing proce works, thats why we are asking senior members to explain us weather puting sell at higher price with this much high volume anant has can make a difference

even i have been alloted 5 lots and holding all, if listing had been around 80-85, iwould still not sold my lots,
my target is arounf 100. I would start selling partially after it crosses 100. i can hold till next quater result and also after that time circuit limit will also change and it will rocket up, as seen in swaraj

@bhav and others: please don't take my comment seriously, i said in fun way so i added smiley also in the end and many others took/replied in fun way only. Obviously i was not knowing it was his bid or whose bid, and i can't direct anyone for such things, its everyone individual's choice how/when they want to sell/buy, and i am mature enough to understand that. we can just give some friendly advice. No idea why so many discussions started on that topic. And i have read enough articles on pre-opening and already know such basic things, as link posted by naveenk read that long back. In my opinion, listing price will be affected to some extent with such high quantity orders at low price and that will bring down equilibrium price but i can't try that myself since i can't have big holdings to sell or to buy new. Leave those things, i know retailers/small hni's won't put such orders, and big hni/operators won't listen to us so no point in discussing even.
And somehow i feel , its good for them and for us too, if big players are out totally or partially in good companies during initial level, since later there won't be much selling pressure from them, like now its performing well.

@lokes
Thanks for giving your view on listing price. I know you were joking, its free country , no one can force no one....
But good to clear concept of listing price, especially coming from you...
@bhav.. my msg was not in reference to you.. or any particular individual. I just had read all the comment of fellow members yesterday.. and somewhere thought I should write my views too on this aspect. @ lokes got my point. As he said no operator or big player is going to listen us.. so no space even for discussions. Its sheer wastage of time and efforts.. In stock market everybody wants to safe guard there interest/capital. Nobody cares for other.. that's a bitter truth.

Out of topic question ... In IDBI Capital when i try to sell Jeena Sikho share from past two days it is showing error "Security not present in Profile wise selected security list" ... i previously sold Markolines from IDBI capital last month that is BSE SME , now this is NSE SME ... Does IDBI capital supports selling of NSE SME shares

Bhav its not like that.
Price match from demand and supply. Even if my bid was at 70 the listing price would have been same. If my bid was 80-85 then listing price would have been 79-80 if buyer had placed a bid upto 80. Also if my bid price was 85 then i wouldnt able to sell it on pre listing.
Pre lisiting is all about demand and supply. I just but low pid so that i can make sure my stock is being sold in pre listing.
Some operators put sell order of less than 30 Rs. This game cost us listing gains. I strongly feel that SEBI took right decision to implement new HNI rules atleast for book building ipos. Hope it will be applicable for fixed price ipos as well to make the process fair and equal to all.
On seeing the view of experts like @lokes @Avenue @MRavichandran bought one lot in secondary market at 76. Will continue to hold for some period as per the above experts advice. Thanks all.
