By God's grace and some well wishers goodness, Finally after a One year of long wait & trials have received one lot in a good SME here in retail out of 7 appln made. Applied thru ASBA via Canera Netbank in the dying moments of IPO closure day, 3:55pm. It's a sheer coincidence of course as almost negligible chance it was owing to enormous subscription.

something fishy about these allotments in SME IPO'S
even out of 10 or 12 applications retail & also retail not even a chance

Even if you apply for 100 application, the chances of getting the allotment here would have been less than 10%.

With 10-12 application, chances are less than 1%

​@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Sir This is my strong gut feeling that these types of IPO's are well manipulated and only 5-10% of total shares offered are chosen from the lucky draw system and rest 90% of total cream (मलाई) is given to known dear ones.
Just think if the listing is going to be 5 times the issue price and this piece of cake is there to be shared with open public. Not possible.
It's a well manipulated game played between Lead Manager, Promoter, QIB, brokerage houses and well informed investors.
This is just like sharing a mug of water to lottery from the whole big tank.

This is wrong and as well as right too, because if this is not done who will invest in this small companies where the risk of loosing is quiet high as big chink of SME companies after 5 years of listing just vanishes and only 10-20% survive and grow.

I wholeheartedly honour your feelings.
