Upstox placed order on bse when I normally sold from holdings..such a stupid platform .. fokat ka loss .. listing 620 par hui usne 612 pe bech diya hni lot ...

Always place pre open orders on NSE as mostly it discovers a higher price compared to BSE.

​@Anshujii Pre-open is between 9 am to 9:44 am safe side 9:43 am ... After that orders are matched and trading begins with normal orders after 10:00..

Even after knowing everything sometimes you just can't use knowledge at right time . So I would try to be easy on myself for today's blunder. . Coz I never sell on bse but it was a mistake not ticking nse + then panic selling in parts even at bottom 555 I sold some.. so avg 580 something.. next time I won't need fund immediately for any ipo so would be patient

Because of this TPIN I couldn't execute order in 600-610 serise

Have to sell it at 570

Lost around 1k

You should do the Tpin varification process before. 9:30 am.
It's not Zerodh's fault.
The system is made by CDSL to safeguard us.
Or do the necessary process to avoid Tpin varification.

I expect listing to be in 640-665.
I will not sell below 650, and sell completely in 650-750 in chunks in 3-4 weeks. I don't find this one to be keepsakes at 750+ at current financials.
I will add below 580, although not expecting it to go below 580 today.

But money still not debited for IPO allotment.

Dont worry they will debit the amount , mandate will be still pending , this happened with me also i booked profit in that ipo but still my amount want deducted , it was deducted in a couple of days.

Always book partial profit!!!
After price falls ,the psychology is weak and you don't sell the stock.
Ab jisne flair me 500 rs ka price dekh liya ho,kya wo 370 pe sell kar payega ?? Definitely not !!! ab long term story ka game start hoga.

Hold till 2nd week of January. You will get much better price in January and beyond.

Right now lot retail investors (including SHNI and BHNI) are selling, so that the proceeds can be used to apply in IPOs lined up till month end.

There will not be much IPOs starting January first week, so selling pressure will go away soon.

Worst post listing performance, 26% listing gain went down to 13% and there is so much selling pressure. DOMS is standing tall even with 77% gains.

Thats when the big player enter...
Market sentiment is such a big factor... Everyone is bullish nowadays everywhere.. one bad listing everyone dumped their holding... perfect time for big guys to buy and earn big !!

Can i cancel order between 9:45 to 9:59 ?

I tried and my order got cancelled at 9:55 in upstox. It means we can cancel the order between this time.

Your order price would have been higher than listing price of 620 even if it was 621 order is cancelled by some brokers and some brokers leave the order in system which can be only cancelled/modified after 10am , if your order price was 620 or below it should have been executed and your stocks would have been sold.

Sold @575.5. Order failed twice. After that tried again and triggered at 575.5.

why not sold at listing price in pre open ??

What will happen if i place a sell order now? currently its in 600. if it opens at 650 when the market opens, what would be the trigger price?

your order would be triggered at listing price at 9.45 itself , if you had sell order @600 it would have been triggered at 620 , mine also sell order was 610 triggered at listing price of 620 & profit booked.
