how to get allotment in shni and bhni category? I am little bit confused about allotment process in shni and bhni. I used to apply in retail category and now a days, I moved to shni category.
Is it good to remain in retail category or move to shni/bhni according to fund available?

In general for highly subscribed issues of popular sound companies, the upside from IPO price to Listing price tend to be lower than the upside from listing price to post- 2 months price.
For e.g., in Mankind Pharma,
IPO Price (1080) to Listing Price (1300 on 9th May) = 220
Listing Price (1300) to Todays' price (1710) = 410
Therefore, instead of banging you head on non-allotment, concentrate on buying in pre-open or post listing.

Lena toh sab chahte hai, but soch rahein hai ki thoda aur gire toh le lenge, jab ek baar upside journey start ho jaayega, toh phir sab neeche mein lene wale bhi upar me hee le lenge, jisase ye share kaafi upar jaayega. 1st day consolidate hua hai, woh bhi weak market mein, it will be fly soon... vaise bhi drone upar hee jayega.... Delivery % is low so I don't think it will fly like mankind pharma after listing. Wait and watch is good. It is only my personal opinion.

At present ( 07.07.23/ 14.15 ) total volume in Ideaforge is more than 95 Lac which means that shorters will cover the stock before closing the market. This leads to upward movement in Ideaforge definitely.

@abcxyz As per the final figure no shortcoming took place in last hour .out of 44 lacs 40 lacs have changed hands even qib also . So now what is your analysis and predictions.

Congratulations, very very good listing. Well above expectations, no allotment and no fresh buying, Indirectly invested through MF. Will buy if funds are available and market euphoria subsidies and valuation seems reasonable. Meanwhile, all allottees enjoy!!

DSR mentor, bhai QIB can dump anytime, especially with 80-90% gain.

@DSR , I believe QIBs can sell at listing, hence, an institutional investor can apply both as an anchor as well as QIB. These two applications from same party are considered separate, unlike how it works between HNI and Retail. That’s why most Institutional investors investor take benefit of applying through both routes for immediate return and long term holding as well.

@sivas, in mainboard IPOs, trading volumes are high because of day traders i.e. same shares change hands multiple times during the day.

@DSR @Kapz @ManishDwiv Assuming 20 lac shares available..that is still very low..if there are any delivery of 10-15 lacs..then there will be almost no free float which can lead to further rise of stock. Am i missing something here?
