Well said Don. The FDI holding restrictions in Telecom Sector is low now. Stribg expectatins prevail that our Honble Finance Minister increases this during his budget speech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not do analysis paralysis. This company will do well. DCB and GBN both had losses before their IPO launch...why would you think this company won't do well...besides companies like reliance com and bharti have already picked up funds from the market...now idea will do it...look at the future, not the past...

Just heard this news on rediff.. " Vodafone bagged Hutch-Essar fot 19.2billion dollar".. Since Idea IPO is opening tomorrow.. I will like to get input from the brilliant minds psoting their views on this. Competition is good bu that will put more pressure an eat up the margins of thse India cellular companies which are already running on thin margins.. Any takers

As per current gray market form price is Rs 4000/- per one lac. What to do? Is it good to sell it?
Second as per my view one will get 150-200 shares/one lac. budget effect is also there.
What to do for secrity? Is this issue will give gain like IDFC?

Beware!!! Do not apply for this IPO. It is very weak and infact the last ranking company in telecom sector. It wont even list at a good premium.

Applying for Reliance is suggested . Reliance will catch up with Airtel very soon . Idea is best avoided

Basically a good IPO for long term. A Birla Group company. There may be some listing gains. However, for short term and medium term not much can be expected. As they get license to operate in more circles, we can see jump in the market price of this script. My suggestion is to invest.

IDEA will be a good bet for two years horizon beacuse of booming growth in Telecom .

i am very much interested this strip,listing date going on 100 to 150 easily,i have invest one lakh for this co.

Dont compare IDEA with Bharti. Bharti is a telecom company with presence in all types of telecom services like wireline(broadband),wireless,NLD(National long distance),ILD(international long distance),WI-FI,WIMAX etc. where as IDEA is completely depended on wireless segment.

Bharti Cellular IPO was at 45 now it is nearly 300
so IDEA has better future ahead
