Still we have kirana stores and (ration card) public distribution system though we had Dmart and Listing is in front of ous. GTPL have strong customer hold in Rural as well as Urban areas. They transformed standard cable tv into Digital. Look at SunTv and look at DishTv share price.
Its a buy without hesitation. They have left gains on table.

Everyone wants cheaper products but what about quality?
I am still using my Hathway broadband connection as the speed of Jiofi is crap and not reliable. Same goes with Voice call, I am still using my old Airtel SIM as I dont find Jio so reliable. When Jio will launch its TV and broadband services, I am sure there will be some euphoria, some people might switch to Jio but I am damn sure Jio will fail in quality, speed and reliability. There might be some headwinds to current operators initially but they will remain relevant. When Jio was launched Airtel shareprice was dropped to below 300 now see where it is today, re climbed to level of 360.

but why you didn''t talk about idea share price on the verge of 52 week low and biggest thing, vodafone was coming with it''s mind bowgling #IPO :D and with my bestest telescope i am not able see vodafone ipo anyway here or there.

Both are correct. Revenue is 746 crore according to IndAS and is 852 crore according to Indian GAAP standard.
As companies are now moving towards IndAS, 746 crore would be the more relevant figure.

GTPL faces very tough competition from other local players plus the Big Boss (JIOTV) is also knocking the doors.

As per my view, we should take facts into matter, Jio tv is coming in near future. And just like airtel, idea n all had suffered bcoz of jio. Same thing can happen in this segment too. In bull market, they want to get it out. Bcoz they know after jio tv arrives. They won''t have a proper condition to float an ipo. Correct me if i am wrong. Cheers 🍻

JIO is planning FTTH service which is similar to DTH. It must have already started test deployment in Mumbai and Delhi. Just imagine this way, one connection to your home will provide you both DTH Cable channels and Broadband Internet.... But what is its impact on GTPL ?

#Omkar, the way jio provided free calls, sms and internet, and what was the impact on other company''s in same segment, you can calculate the same for gtpl and other dth and cable operators.
