Dear Manoj from where you got this information that EPS will be around 10 ? If this is the case worth investing because Empee distelleries is also trading around 147/- with EPS of Rs.6 for the year ended 31.3.2009. which translates in P.E. of 30.

Check the Price of United Spirit.CMP is 921 with EPS of Rs.27.49 for the year 2009. Hence P.E. Multiple of around 33.
on conservative basis if EPS of GSL is Rs.10 then P.E. should not be less than 15 which translates in a price of Rs.150/-.However other factor has to be taken care off before investing.

I feel EDL (Empee Distiler) around 140 with 5 Rs Cum-Dividend is far better option. Say NO to speculative IPO with higher price band.

To much black money in this industry(alcohal), difficult to project real growth, hence less return ... I would say no to this IPO.

Appreciate if anyone know similar type company, which doing well in market.

Post issue capital will be around 20 corre and profit for 2009 march is also around 20 crore. EPS will be around Rs. 10 (post issue)
