Dear Members, I have a query. I applied for 616 shares @ 340 (Rs. 209,440) thru ICICI Bank ASBA under HNI category for Chemcon IPO. However, I didn't get any allotment. My understanding is that allotment in HNI category is on proportionate basis in case of oversubscription. Please update me on this. Thanks.

I applied for 5328 shares worth more than 18 Lakhs and just allotted 44 shares ( 1 lot ). So you can see if you wan to apply in HNI , how much amount you need to get allotment. Better apply 1 lot in retail with 10 different account of family members / friends. Probably od allotment is more and amount invested is way less.

From last 4 IPOs with 11 applications(1 from 1 account) haven't got any single allotment. All done by upi, I know the process still want to know if there is any situation where I am going wrong? Why I never gets any allotment yr.

We know Karvy\Kfin goof up with their allotment. Don't know who else are doing it. But IPO subscribe 35 - 40 times. One really has to be lucky. It is purely lottery basis.
