Hi Monster Zero Sir, I m bit confused after seeing the results. YoY is fantastic and QoQ results are poor. In my view first 9 months performance ( which was fantastic and reason behind great full year result was already priced in, in the Issue price. Kindly correct me if assumptions are not making any sense. Holding 14 lots presently

There has been trend in all the new listing that YOY is great, but QOQ is subdued. Can we attribute it to Corona virus in Jan-Feb?
I would say..10-12% rise is justified...And FIIs are back...so they may take it to UC if they want to. Price action already seen from last two sessions.
@Monster Zero. Thanks for sharing the above details, now I know applying with any other than 14 lot had better chance which I too had thought but many suggested 14 lots so applied. Will use this data for next.

@ColdBurger : you are wrong, no idea on what basis/understanding you are saying that. All these basic things i already knew and explained even before allotment and exactly same way it is as i informed in rainbow page thread. 14 lots is always better and safe to apply in SHNI category. Anyways all lot category will have similar chances as seen above also but i explained why 14 lots is better and safe in case of good ipos where we know it will be over subscribed application wise in SHNI.

@Lokes - Sorry for the above comment which was done without sparing much time to read the data properly. I did not mean to offend anyone! I will need to spend time on calculation to know the details and convince myself. Actually I am confused about (1) HNI was subscribed 22time (Raw w/o rejections) - (2) SHNI subscribed 13.6 X after rejections (3) SHNI Subscribed 25.46X after rejections
My question - (1) Is this Amount/Lot basis? I thought it is like for every lot available 22 bids present. Since HNI can apply minimum 14 lots then even if only two people applied for 1 lot then it becomes 28X right? So how the (2) & (3) has such high times subscription number? I am sure I am missing something to consider as this level of fraud cannot be overlooked. Please direct me to some useful link where i can learn this calculation.
can someone explain this allotment basis in Big HNI? Isn't allotment in Big HNI category on proportionate basis anymore like it used to be before? I applied for 160 lots (8160 shares) and did not get a single share whereas I was hoping for at least 357 (160 lots/22.25) shares or more.
Let me explain the HNI allotment in simplest way so that all can understand. Figures may very a bit as I don't remeber exact. Campus bHNi
14 Lots each to be distributed to 6966 applicants.
bHNI applicants total irrespective of lots applied 18493.
SEBI wants to allot 1 lot to all bHNI but can not as lots are less, so lottery.
Lottery winning chance = possible successfully applicant / total applicant = 6966 / 18493 = 37%
So in every lot category , 14 lots each will be allowed to 37% applicants.
If 100 people have applied for 68 lots, 37 of them will be allotted 14 lots each.37% of 100 is 37.
If 10 people have applied for 126 lots, 3.7 rounded to 4 will be allotted 14 lota each.
If 3 people have applied for 71 or 75 or 175 or any no., 3 x 37% = 1.11 rounded to 1, so only 1 will be allowed 14 lots.
I hope I am clear and simple enough.
@SmartyPanks... So irrespective of no. of lots, there is lottery within all lot categories. If only 1 applicant for 160 lots, you will not get any allotment, if 2 than 1 will get 14, if 3 than 1, if 4 than also 1, if 5 than 2 will get 14 lots each. Seems you were unlucky in lottery or were only one for 160 lots.
@Avenue - One simple question. HNI was subscribed 22times. Do that translates to {Lots reserved for hni}*14*22?. Since minimum 14 lots are given then this 14 magic digit is confusing me.
@Avenue.... First of all...apologies for replying late since I just read your reply. Secondly, Thank You so much for your explanation. So now it seems that proportionate allotment in oversubscribed HNI is history. Its a lottery in every category and its best to apply for not more than 14 lots/68 lots in sHNI/bHNI to increase probability of winning the lottery. But i dont like this. Previously the struggle was to get few shares in HNI and now its a case of zero or 14 lots which is also not what I wanted as the hope in HNI was for allotment of few lots (like 2-5) but Que Sera Sera....C'est la vie i guess.
Nazara announced 1:1 bonus issue! Is that beneficial to buy now? Yesterday it was more than 14% up. Still t is at almost half of it 52 week high. Ajanta pharma also announce bonus issue. How about buying these at current level and what will happen once bonus shares given? Will share price reduce and adjust or we can expect good gain. Never experienced bonus issue in my short stint at market so asking. Awaiting inputs from experts..
On the bonus record date, the current share price will be split based on the ratio. Then it will take a few days to credit the shares in your Demat account. Till that time, the average price of your share will be the old price. So, you will see some loss which will be corrected once the shares have been credited to your Demat.
Example: If you have 10 shares of ABC company and they have announced a bonus of 1:1. Assume the price of the single share is Rs.100. So, your investment is Rs.1000. On the record date, The total investment will be still Rs.1000 but you will have 20 shares now with the price of Rs.50(due to split). The other 10 shares will be credited to your Demat account within a few days. After that, your average cost will be adjusted.
The share has fallen rs20. What should I do. I'm ready to hold for months as it can give good results. Fundamental good company right . As market condition is not good so the stock is falling. But it's good stock to hold
@ayan roxx That's where we make mistake friend. You should have booked the good profit atleast part of it..It is good to book profits at stages inspite of holding all the chunk..Since market sentiments are weak u still had the chance of getting the big bite and u still have it..
Exit. Currently it's overvalued due to future potential, Mirza International (Red Tape) is available at much cheaper valuations. It generates higher profit and is valued only 1/5th of Campus.
Campus is not worth 5 times Red Tape. Regardless of future potential. Even if Campus sustains it's levels, it'd be Mirza International which will cover up for it due to undervaluation and give better returns.
FY2022 Upto December 2021 EPS 2.82 (9 months) Approximate for 12 months =2.82 *1.33= 3.75 Assuming cmp stays same after declaring march 2022 results PE 367/3.75 =97.8
A PE of 97.8 is comparable to Relaxo and cheaper than Bata.. Also relaxo has a bad December 2021 quarter, but has a higher ROCE.
Hence now we know why motilal Oswal bought 48L shares. Most websites are showing PE on the basia of FY 2021, Hence the cry over expensive CMP but this cold drastically change once FY2022 results are announced.
Any view for Campus.. Hold or sell? Read many comments below but have mix review.. If hold then till what period and if sell then at what rate? As market is too volatile.. stop loss should be kept at what price range?
Market will be kept above 16k for LIC listing. Campus will hover around 400 for this week ...if it reaches 430 before Thursday..take an exit. I'm holding 2 lots for short term...(2-3 months) and quarterly results are in line.....
Another factor taking a toll on profit margin could be gst hike from 5% to 12%. On footwear, textile and clothing. Expect march results to be slightly low...but still better than relaxo and bata.
Currently 500-550 is in near sight...but good results will take it to 620+...if supply is reduced and demand is there. Expect more foreign investors taking a share of the pie in short term. Once EPS increases PE will drop making it a lucrative buy. Fair comparison will be Relaxo as bata is expensive.. Relaxo had a bad quarter..so compare relaxo and campus March 2022 results. Refer rhp for correct data.... everywhere else data is misguided.
I have been alloted Campus IPO and it is reflected in my demat and i am able to sell it. But interesting thing is my blocked money for this ipo returned in my bank account.
So basically time being, I have 51 free shares of campus.
This seems like a technical glitch to me. I dont know what to do here, Experienced members please advice.
