I know this is a small and comparatively less interested IPOs, but the silence in forum is too much. Rather in most IPO pages, there is too much silence

@Ayank 1) Have you gone through my five points reply to @AnilA 2) If so, please read further as below. 3) Calculation for chance of Allotment to me: i) My lot size = 47 lots under HNI. ii) No. of times subscribed under HNI = 58.14 times iii) Allocation to category size of 47 lots in case of only one applicant (i.e. me) = 47/58.14 = 0.808 rounded off to 1 lot which will be allotted to me (Confirm) iv) Allocation to category size of 47 lots in case of two applicants (i.e. co-applicant and me) = 47 x 2 /58.14 = 1.617 rounded off to 2 lots which will be allotted to me and co-applicant (Confirm) v) Allocation of category size of 47 lots in case of three applicants (i.e. two co-applicants and me) = 47 x 3 / 58.14 = 2.425 rounded off to 2 lots which will be allotted in the ratio of 2:3 (lottery). One person will miss out. and so on.

@ADP. 1) In this IPO, “Others” means simply other than Retail. Here, “Others” include both NII and QIB. 2) Break up figures for "Others" were available in the BSE INDIA website yesterday. Now they are showing combined figure only.

@ADP In this IPO there is no QIB Quota, so QIB subscription is not shown.
Subscription details shown in "Others" category above is nothing but subscription of NII category.
🙏

@Basuvr, @ADP: “Others” category includes QIB also in addition to NII. Please check up similar type of SME IPO “QUALITEK” in BSEINDIA website wherein the break up details are still available. Go to the link below and then click “BSE Demand Schedule” to see the break up particulars. https://www.bseindia.com/markets/publicIssues/DisplayIPO.aspx?id=3274&type=FPO&idtype=2&status=H&IPONo=6407&startdt=18/01/2024

In QUALITEK also there was no QIB Quota. Check the BOA document, it contains allotment to MM, retail and NII 🙏

@Basuvr: 1) Please see the query raised by @ADP in Hindi in this thread. The discussion is regarding “Others” category and subscription details for QIB and NII. Everybody knows that there is no separate quota for QIB in case of fixed price SME IPOs. It does not mean that QIB cannot apply. They do apply and their applications are considered as “Others” Category. 2) In fine, there is quota for MM and Retail only in this IPO (No quota for QIB and no quota for NII as well). All others i.e. FIIs, DIIs, Banks, MFs, Corporates, Individuals (Other than Retail) etc. can apply and their subscriptions are taken under “Others” category. 3) I checked BoA for Qualitek. It contains allotment to MM, Retail, and Non Retail Investors only and not NII (Non Institutional Investors).
@DEVBULL Please let me inform with calculation that if I have applied for 3 lots and there was 229 applicants and issue was over subscribed by 67.27 times what will be the basis of allotment. This is of Qualitech Labs and I can not understand your calculation as basis of allotment calculation shows about 1 out of 25 application.

@Dagliinv: 1) Qualitek IPO: As per BoA, the “Others” category (i.e. Non-Retail Investors) was actually oversubscribed by 78.6 times and not 67.27 times as stated by you. 2) Allocation of category size of 3 lots (i.e. 3,600 shares) for 229 applicants = 3 lots x 229 applicants / 78.6 times = 8.74 lots rounded off to 9 lots which are allotted in the ratio of 9 : 229. You are telling this ratio as 1 out of 25 applicants. But we have to tell this ratio as 9 out 229 applicants only. 3) Calculation by taking quantity of shares instead of lots: Allocation of shares = 3600 shares x 229 applicants / 78.6 times = 10488.55 shares (shown as 10488 in BoA) rounded off to 10,800 shares (i.e. 9 lots) which are allotted in the ratio of 9 : 229.

@CA Dhiraj Ramchandani These are SUB2 Rates, i.e. if allotment is guaranteed by seller (IPO Application Person), buyer compensates seller with this amount. If seller does not receive allotment, buyer does not pay anything.
@MuStrFc: I understood, thanks. It is more or less profit per lot, so on an investment of 125 KINR, 1200 is the current price. which is less than 1%.. Interesting

@MuStrFc Ji it's application rate not subject to. It's called costak rate. If subject to rate is 1000 RS only than who will apply because now a days getting allotment is very tough...

@CA Dhiraj Ramchandani Yes one can sell without getting allotment but the amt is too small which you get and secondly if you get the allotment then all taxes will be borne by you and profit will go to buyer overall a loss

@AnilA. 1) What do you say is applicable for main board IPOs only. In SME IPOs, the lot size matters to get confirmed allotment. 2) Here, I applied for 47 lots single hni application by 2.50 pm when it was 15 times oversubscribed. My prediction was it would go up to 50 times. But at the end of the day, it went up to 58.14 times. In case of 50 times, my chance of getting allotment is 100% confirmed up to 8 applicants including me in my category size. If there are 9 applicants, then one person will miss out. 3) Coming to reality, NII is oversubscribed by 58.14 times. In this situation, my chance of getting allotment is 100% confirmed, if there are 2 applicants only in my category size (i.e. 47 lots). In case of 3 applicants, then one person will miss out. 4) Normally, more people would be there in the round category size, say 30 lots, 35 lots, 40 lots and so on, and less people would be there in odd category size. So, I selected 47 lots. 5) In fine, where do I go for 47 individual applications, while I have only 2 demat accounts (my wife and myself).

@Dips Zala: BoA not yet made available in CG website. Allotment Status checked from KFin website. Link: https://kosmic.kfintech.com/ipostatus/
@rohiitian@Noorul@lokes Any idea, if apply 2 separate application HNI using same combination of demat and Bank, 1 using ASBA and other though UPI, both will be aggregated or rejected?
@Paymzia@lokes thank you. I thought people always used to for rejection apply both retail and HNI. But if we apply both HNI also, then also logically it should be rejected, agreed.
@rohiitian , 50 lot application should fetch allotment this time. Can't be this unlucky twice in a row.
I too have this issue of funds being present in different accounts. Transferring them is a hassle as IDFC just blocks the account on any large fund transfer (which is scary sometimes).
@GrayIsTheNewBlack Btw the Qualitek BOA is out but is on sample basis so can't figure out how I missed the allotment or if some other lot size would have helped. Fingers crossed for this - but I hope with 56x, all 50 lot apps will go through.
@rohiitian , in all fairness it should go through. But if there are large number of 50 lot applications, there maybe a chance of few applicants missing out.
I went with combination of 30/7/7/7 and 7 Retail apps.
