​@Small Investor what you predict on listing?

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack As per regulation do companies only provide 3 years of financial data? Is there anyway to get older data?

Due to Covid, the FY '21 numbers for all biz are suppressed and everyone shows great topline and bottom-line improvements for 3 years, but it may just be returning to pre-covid levels.

@MuStrFc It's not a straightforward no actually in my view. Main issue is asking price.
- the fundamentals are sound, they have a unique biz model (fixed fee with profit sharing that always ensures they make money and not worry about every production being a hit)
- great financials on standalone basis, solid topline, EBITDA & PAT growth, low debt
- decent set of upcoming releases, including a focus on regional productions which is a great strategy

Just not able to get my head around the valuation. Not even sure how to value a biz like this - comps are all over the place. What do you all you guys think? @GrayIsTheNewBlack @lokes @Noorul

​@rohiitian I am not taking risk to apply here...mainly because of high valuations. In my view current PE is more for this business....
I understand financials growth is there but its not leaving much on the table for investors as per latest financial year numbers too....Issue size is also too big with 10% QIB and rest with retail and HNI and there is very poor demand from HNI/QIB here till now so its looks risky from listing and short term point of view and since its regional player so getting big is not easy in future....

​@rohiitian , usually financial results are available on company website under "Investor Relations" tab.

Coming to this IPO, with institutional reservation (QIB's) only 10% with such big size - its a clear avoid case for me.
If company doesn't have confidence that institutions will subscribe usual 50% allocation, I wouldn't want to be extra brave and apply.

There is a buyer available in grey market at 8 Rs, if one has access to grey market they can sell and apply.
Open application should be avoided as per my opinion.

very conflicted whether to take risk and put a bid for 2 lots. but absolutely no demand is making this very risky.

One counterpoint on the large IPO size - had seen 3-4 recent large IPOs (Khazanchi, Electro Force, CFF, all 80 Cr +) with no dedicated QIB portion since they were fixed price, all listed weakly (5-10% pop), but all followed by immediate multiple UCs and all are 50%-300% above price since. All had poor subscription numbers. I'd applied for Electro Force and was surprised to see such low subs for a biz of that calibre.

If Baweja had asked for 20-30% lower valuations it would have been an easy call. As of now I think I will also sit out.

​@rohiitian The media coverage which is unusual and all the associated factors highlighted above puts more pressure to remain away from this. This story is not scripted well for investors

​@rohiitian reason is not just big issue size, i have applied cosmic crf and proventus also and was allotted and got profits, those were also big size issue, CFF also i applied...they all did good (cosmic took time initially).....but spectrum talent also we applied , that was big size issue and considered good but that gave good losses to most people including me....here i was not getting feeling to apply considering company business/sector also...
Anyways anything can happen in sme's as we know that operator can still make these run if they want....
