Third party applications allowed or not?
Please explain how you are managing 11 applications if third party applications not allowed.

Yes, you can apply with Linked FD. If not allotted, ur FD will be continued generating interest😊

I do the same with ICICI Bank Link FD.

@ SME Investor, I also use ICICI with Linked FD. But weather in BOB or Any PSU Bank allows IPO via LINKED FD ?

As per my understanding, the concept of Linked FD is same for every Bank be it Private or PSUs. Rest member can share their experience with PSU for better understanding.

I use Kotak with swip in FD functionality of 25k each FD. So i have mutiple FD in my account of 25k each. I can apply ipo by using those and once got allotment, those FD broken which needed for IPO allotment amount. others continue.

During 6 days lockin (IPO closing to IPO allotment ) , you get FD interest rates or saving bank interest rates.

I think SBI doesn't allow bcoz I have FDs having sufficient amount linked to saving bank account. But, once I was applying IPO it didn't work due to lack of funds. Though, my intention at that time was not to use FD as I didn't have this knowledge.
Also, I just checked, as per CG (in 2018), it syas NO, one need to have sufficient amount in his or her saving / current account to apply for IPO and amount in FD, overdraft, loan can't be used.
May be rules changed now.

This is not possible in NRE FD. As banks do now allow sweepin facility on this FDs.

Local account FD can be linked to Sweepin facility and you can apply IPO, same time enjoy FD interest rate.

@Jukeganai sala , There is no logic. It might be the condition of SEBI
that an issue must be open for minimum X days and maximum Y days. So after this it depends upon company to decide the days for which issue remain open for subscription.
