What I mean is some one is using my wife''s PAN no and applying from a different DMAT account.Some known person/distant relative might have got hold of her PAN card copy and opened an account in her name ! Some bank employee would be able to do this.

If any body using your wife PAN no. you can complaint it Income tax Department, SEBI and Finance ministry.

Is it true that from this year onwards we can apply in an IPO through ASBA only. I do not net banking.Does it mean I can not apply in an IPO?Thanks to all repliers in advance.

I have an O/D a/c in a nationalised bank.This branch cater to ASBA applications.(I do not have internet banking facility).The a/c is in joint name of me and my wife.I want to make application in my dtr''s name also.In fact as per my knowledge we can make maximum of 5 applications from one a/c errespective whether applicant is a/c holder or not.How to convince my bankers? Thanks to all repliers in advance.

First of all you have to transfer the funds from od to sb a/c. You have to fill the share application forms(max 5 from one a/c) and sign as per bank records and submit the same duly completed forms to your broker ,who will then upyour application.Please note your broker after bidding will approach your bank and will do the the needful.

I have applied in many IPOs in my wife''s name but I have not received any allotment so far even though allotment was liberal(not firm).I suspect that someone else is applying in my wife''s name and both applications are getting rejected due to duplication.How to enquire about this?Thank to all repliers.

Name similar is not reason for rejection, only pan number must be different,

Anyone more whose lien not removed??????????

This time many Union Bank customers faced this problem. Still Debit is pending, ASBA amount is unblocked not done. They are in process and the solution may come by Monday. I also have the same issues.
