Surprising that FPO Registrar is not mentioned above. As per members price band declared but nobody noticed about the Registrar.
Need the information about Registrar !!!

Sometimes there is discounted offer to the existing shareholders of the company during a FPO. I initially assumed that there might be something like this here also. Now checked that there is nothing as such for this one.

With 4 shares a lot, max profit 2000 per lot (if price stays near todays closing), budget moves, adani group i will prefer a tension free sleep till next ipo. Cheers

20000 cr issue translated roughly into 6.1 cr shares that would be added to the outstanding shares
Taking today's market cap as standard, this would translate into listing price of 3428....
Of course there is still 20 days from listing, and post budget n before listing I would expect share price to be jacked up significantly..... Still feel should have left more on the table for the investors...3k and would hv definitely applied. Now will wait till last day (budget day) to decide. Not that budget would be against adani interest.... Still..

Yes.

We have seen Mega IPOs in the past like
Paytm & LIC. Both these Companies have collected a very big amount from the public and both listed in the red and both are struggling in the market. Before the issues all media and news channel have discussed on these issues and didn't expressed the high valuation of these issues. These issues were made the retailers more sad but the promoters wealth increased remarkably. In short big ipos is meant for the promoters and not good for the public.

But Adani's track record is impressive and good trusted name among the investors. So hoping that Adani will not cry the people and justifies it's record .

LIC was PSU and PayTM a private entity, both came with mega IPO. Pay TM the worst ever and no need to expect from PSUs.
Adani Enterprise is listed and coming with FPO. Market has knowledge of price and price movements. Let's wait for price.
I also think that this FPO will not disappoint investors. But difference in 52 week high and low is a thing to watch also.
This is share market and any thing can happen. It may also open/close roads for other big IPOs in pipe line.

Companies looking to raise money through IPO are finding it difficult to hit the market, as diminished investors appetite and an uncertain market outlook has forced many of them to defer fund raising plans through IPOs.
According to SEBI guidelines a company must launch its IPO within a year of approval or issuance of observations by the capital market regulators. After one year companies will have to refile the prospectus.

In big FPOs like Adani, the issue price is decided at certain discount (say approx. 6--8%) to prevailing market price on a specific day ( 2 - 3days prior to issue date). The existing shareholders try to leverage the discount and sell prior to the issue and apply in the issue thereby putting a further pressure on market price. One shouldn't expect big gains from FPOs and OFSs...... The market price and the issue price more or less may be same on the date of listing of new shares....

Such cases of market price is seen in many, many cases of FPO and OFS. Case of IRCTC OFS it's less than OFS price. Investment in such cases is totally personal. In case of buyback of shares, the share price is often less than prevailing price on that time. Latest case I remember is of Care Rating. Buyback price was 515 and the prevailing market price at that time was more. Today the market price of Care Rating is more than 600 a piece. IPO price was 750 a piece. In many cases present market price is less than buyback price also, specially in PSUs and others. Nothing is certain.
Such prediction is not new for people investing in Share Market from long.
