T+1 rule is for secondary market. That is where you get your money after selling shares on the next working day..

For primary market (meaning IPOs) it is T+3
It means IPO shares have to be listed on the exchanges whithin 3 working after close of issue.
Now, your question, here money has to be unblocked on the next working day after allotment day..not after close of issue..

​@ValueSeeker You are absolutely correct. SMEs are very risky. One must book profit when listed at more than 100% unless one is sure about the future of the company. One have more funds to block and have more risk appetite. Only some lucky persons are going to get allotment in such SME. So there are chances to use the funds in upcoming good SMEs and IPOs. LUCK may again favor. Rest, never be so greedy.
Take decision with due care. Believe in self and LUCK. Never look back.

First of all congratulations, if you have got the alllotment.

I for one will get out off a SME IPO (with high profit) at the listing because i am not a high risk taker..

But if you have a high risk apetite and enough financial cushion then carry on with this stock with a very clear stop loss..

​@ValueSeeker Hi there! I was rather mildly but pleasantly surprised to see my name amongst those of the elites. Actually the name doesn't deserve to be there; but since you have asked, I can just say that we all have different strategies for different scrips and for different time spans.
At the outset let me admit that I have NO knowledge of the financials, etc. I just follow the age old adage coined by our erstwhile Gujarati brokers, which is :-

"Bhaav Bhagwan Chhe"......meaning, price is every thing.

I will sell if a scrip lists beyond my wildest of expectations and at other times I will keep it if I FEEL it has potential for further upside. It all depends upon the listing price.
Since I could apply only 2 in retail here, there was no allotment for me.

​@ValueSeeker Just the listing. Very nice listing. Touched near upper circuit and than also touched lower circuit. Again moving towards UC. My thinking to book such a good profit seems to me the correct decision. It is always better to enjoy profit and buy good portfolio stock from profit amount. Principal for further use. TCS now looks very attractive. May give good surprise. Power Grid and Syrma looks good. Solar Industries can go anywhere. Power Mech again a share to watch. Not an invitation to buy. Use your own sources.

I have been using SBI ASBA for IPO application. Seeing the comments below, I feel applying from ASBA from private banks would be better in future? HDFC n all have already unblocked funds...!!

As both accounts are not released, I am assuming that ICICI still hasn't got mandate.

One can not have 2 lots out of 2 lots. We are not that lucky. 😊

​@Anurag Garg Yes waiting for ICICI and looks like game over. 1860 will get allotment and a small percent of them might have used ICICI ASBA so chances are over now.
