Definitely it will open very high, it will be next AMIC or Deepak depends on where it opens.

My thoughts are If it's AMIC we will not get in preopen as big player will pick it all and if it's Deepak we will be stuck in it.

I will better utilize the funds to apply in open IPO'S

Both are open more than 90% premium. I am not seeing big difference between Deepak and AMIC in listing day.

but lot of difference from second day.

There can be multiple factors. MM is most important factor, check past performance of MM liked with AMIC and Deepak IPO

it wont be like any of deepak or amic in my view, it wont keep hitting continuous LC or UC for 5-6 days after listing....
If listing is too high here in comparison to gmp then it may hit LC after 10am mostly because of very big issue size so some selling/profit booking will come....if listing is lesser or as per gmp , then it may hit UC after listing...
For new buying, i think around 300 to upto 330 can be tried and allottees may book profit if listing is around 380-390 or above....listing may happen around 350-360....At 2.5X or 3X of issue price, its valuations will be on higher side...

I understand the emotion on non-allotment, but this plea is baseless from SEBIs perspective. SEBI wants broader participation and reduction of risk to retail shareholders. That's why the lot size in mainline is kept ~13k but in SME it is 10X of that. i.e. even the retail shareholders who participate in SME IPOs are relatively 10X well off. If you study the BoA of a highly subscribed mainline and a highly subscribed SME you will realise how many people are applying single lots in each. An SME IPO is typically 20cr in size and mainline is 1000+ crore. You will also realise that even if one puts a 10cr bid in Accent, he/she will only get 1 lot (albeit guaranteed) - i.e. outcome is not very different than a successful allottee in retail who just bid for 1 lot. The SME IPO BoA will not change even if there was lottery for NII as successful applicants will still get 1 lot only in Accent type situations, i.e. count of shareholders will remain same as today. So SEBI has no incentive to do lottery as it will not broaden the shareholder base and they dont want to do it as SMEs are less regulated and hence more risky for not so well off retail shareholders.

​@Adesh jain its not about financing , people have made this as business, just check BOA of any application an you will see so many application from 1cr to 8crores and those people mostly get allotment. If rules are changed to same as mainbaord subscription will fall 50% for sure and even retailers will be benefitted as in cases where hni subscription gets lower, quota is moved to retail category, Win Win situation for all.

​@Rohitsme  those who apply for 301 lot , will get 1 lot as he will be crossing 0.5X criteria in that lot category provided he is alone . But 1 lot wale ko kai saal lag jaate hain, i knew many jo 3 saal se retail me laga rhe hain par 1 bhi nhin nikla unka aajtak. Chances are not equal for retail and small hni vs these big whales, SEBI fixed this issue in mainboard last year. Even in HNI ( 2 to 5 lots) i have applied 400 applications in last 1 year but 0 allotment . Those 301 lots application are equal to 100 applications worth 3 lots, understand this. And our job is to request SEBI, SEBI will do it itself for sure, but mails can help it get sooner.

Why would someone use more than 4 crores just for 1 lot? Even if the stock doubles on listing, it's just 1.4 lakhs profit which is just 0.3%. Even if you repeat this in many IPOs like say 50 per year, then you get just 15%. Still this has a huge IF. IF all 50 lists at double. There should be far better investment opportunities than this for such a rich person, right?

​@STOCKED Brother you are missing one thing here, because of T+2 listing, in one month 10 SME can be applied, in entire year 100 allotment can be secured with 4crore, now use your return mathematics, plus they apply from fixed deposits where 7% is already secured, now calculate cage 😀

@ BLUE WHALE: Good suggestion. I observe, in almost all good IPOs, the NII is facing very high multiples (i.e. No. of times subscribed) followed by Retail and last one is QIB. Then why more allocation to QIB in Book Building SME IPOs?

Is retailers getting allottment in normal ipos like before? 2 years back retail subscription was too low in normal ipos and allottment is little easy compared to now but after sebi changed the rules few hnis moved to retail category and subscription is getting too high in high demand ipos and allottment becomes too tough.

I know it sounds silly and Superstitions, but I have been applying the SME IPOs for the past 2-3 years but never got an allotment in good IPOs, so just wanted to know if I am doing anything wrong.
I usually apply on the last day around 2.30-3 PM after seeing QIB and other subscription figures, so may be this can be one of the reasons.
I know its lottery and pure luck and shouldn't have any relation with the time of application, but i can't believe my luck :(
