What documents need to open Zerodha account?

The following documents are required to open an individual account online with Zerodha:

• Self-attested copy of the PAN with the signature below the signature of the applicant.
• A scanned copy of the signature. The signature must be in black or blue ballpoint pen or ink pen. Markers or sketch pens are not allowed.
• Aadhaar card number.
• A bank proof in the name of the customer. The bank proof can be any of the following: a personalized cancelled cheque with the name printed on it, a bank statement, a copy of the passbook clearly showing the account number, bank logo, seal, MICR, and IFSC code.
• Proof of income, if a client wishes to trade F&O. The proof of income, can be one of the following:
• Bank statement with bank logo and seal for the last six months with an average balance of more than Rs.10,000.
• The latest salary slip with a monthly gross income of more than Rs 15,000.
• ITR acknowledgement with a gross annual income of more than Rs 1,20,000.
• Form 16 with a gross annual income of more than Rs 1,20,000.
• Certificate of net worth more than Rs 10,00,000.
• Statement of demat holdings with a current holdings value of more than Rs 10,000.
