How to close Ventura Demat account?

Nowadays, to open a demat account is a pretty quick process in India. But it's little tedious to closing an account though you can close your account any time you want.

Ventura charges AMC of Rs 400+taxes per year. AMC is a charge which you have to pay whether you are using your account or not. So if you don't have any plans to trade with Ventura or you are planning to move to some other broker, it's a great idea to close your account to avoid paying any AMC in future.

The account holder has to take care of a few things before requesting account closure:

1. Account must be clear with any dues
2. No any securities should be held in your account. If there are any, it should be transferred to other accounts

After completing the above formalities steps to be followed by account holder:

1. Download the form from the broker's website or from DP
2. Print the form and fill it
3. Submit to the nearest branch or courier it to them

Once the form is submitted and is in proper order, it takes 7 to 10 business days to close the account.
