Vijay Stambha (Tower of Victory) was built in 1440 A D by Rana Kumbha to commemorate his victory over Mohamed Khilji. this 9 storyed tower is adorned by sculptures of Hindu deities around. There are around 157 narrow steps leading to the terrace where the balconies give a beautiful top angle.

Chittor is the second waranasi for the Hindus.Waranasi is the generator of hinduism while Chittor is the protector.

The Maharanas of Mewar will remembered by everybody who will see these gigantic-marvellous-beautiful monuments.I had visited this place for thrice.So pleased I was to experience myself in the historical fort of Chittor--the land of bravery-sacrifice--courage!
