Surely worth skipping. Rs 1 face value at above 75 times its face value. Loss making for three years. Really no point in going further. Though ofcourse markets are currently going crazy on valuations and one might still be able to make some.listing gains. I would however wait and see how the stock performs and then take a call on Zomato.

Great confidence Rajakumar Sir Allotted 8 lots, sold 5 at UC now holding only 3 lots , taken out principle. On last day I had applied with all accounts.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions on KIMS, SONA, and now on Zomato.
here are the top stocks to invest for 20-30% return annually- CDSL- reason- active Demat account ave doubled in just a year from 2 crore to 4 crore(2020-21) CAMS- another dividend machine-like CDSL. Complete monopoly in the business and have are also going to manage government pension hence revenue and profit is sure to increase.
THESE ARE THE SAFEST INVESTMENT BET IN VOLATILE MARKET
also consider shyam metalics, equitas small finance bank and zomato(with 3 years investment view)
It''s not only about loss making. Many loss making companies have come for IPO but at what valuation are they asking is imp, in case of zomato they are asking absurd valuation.
If loss making is only criteria than Amazon was loss making till 2008 & after that it sky rocketed. Market is always in mood to give thumps up for internet based companies all over world. And Zomato is first internet based unicorn in India which is coming in capital market. So it is creating buzz.
Gig economy based companies can scale rapidly since they dont own the big capital assets and they work based on network effect. Here Zomato has lot of potential as limiting factor for them is delivery people head count. Thats why they command high premium. Look at Uber, Palantir, Airbnb etc. they are still making losses but command huge premium. Big warning is this meant only for long term investors, If you invest in this you gonna see company making Big losses for some more years. Once you capture the market and become monopoly/duopoly you start making big money. That is some years away.
In stock market Investment, whether it is through primary market or secondary market always see future growth potential of a company.....not doubt past growth trend (price movement and financials) is also important.
To see the future .. check who are the promoters(background), sector of company, market position( Monopoly, duopoly, oligopoly or perfect competition), products or services of the company( how futuristic it is) and demand of the same, management outlook/strategy( can be seen in annual report), capacity utilization of current capacity or expansion plans.
Artificial intelligence, internet based companies are the future of India...
Isn''t this the first-ever Indian unicorn going public? Financials aside, I think people who can take high risks may consider this as an experiment. Especially if you are positive on the India growth story and the boom of food delivery apps in the future.
Also, those who plan to subscribe should be ready to burn their fingers if things go south. In any case, wait for last day sub figures, Capital Mind review, and comments from our esteemed members. Ciao from Crow.
@raviagjpr It is always better to apply on cutoff price. If the IPO is not fully subscribed then possibility is there that you may get the shares on lower price band.

Forum experts please guide - is there any limit on investment in secondary market for normal retail account in broking firms like angel broking, zerodha etc.
Q2 how can we ensure that are investments are safe? Is it by ensuring their credit in our demat account?
1. Jitna paisa utna limit... 2. Paisa demat account me mat rakhna usko bank me rakho jab jarur pade tab transfer karo demat me. example : ager koi firm bandh ho jata he to share aapko cdsl ya nsdl secure karta he lekin firm me rakha paisa gaya..
