The retail category wasn't fully subscribed so we applied for fun.

sabse jyada jis bhav pe bidding ho uss bhav pe hi settle hota he... all QIB bidding on higher price. to pura ipo higher price pe settle hua.

ager qib lower price pe bidding karte to retailer ko bhi lower pe aur qib ko bhi lower me milta.

Dharmendra ji i am very positive on BCG. I think earlier promoter was not looking at returns for investor because it was busy running the company and solving big problems like debt.

AWL has shown that pre open does not mean any thing. So why worry?

Sell any IPO in Pre-Market if it gives beyond 15-20% gain. Otherwise, dont sell. Operators are coming with new-new tricks in each IPO.

Intuition saying that listing will be good.

Personal experience with Manyavar: A friend wanted to buy traditional for his wedding. We went to Manyavar store where we found nothing below 20-25k range for sherwani, that too nothing very impressive. In the end he purchased from a local shop for 6k which was as good, if not better, than Manyavar. Who will spend so much for a piece of clothing we only wear for a few hours? (was his logic).

Sahi baat kaha. bargaining is always possible and store managers have some leverage also. Someone should try that ones in a while. A friend ones told me he never visits to buy cloths in a particular store when the owner is around, whenever he is off to some work then he visits the store and gets good bargaining from the manager (they are not related to each other).
