IPO looks good. But the timing is bad. It can be a dark horse and might give surprise listing gains. Chances of allotment is also good here. For a moment, I was tempted to apply. But then limited funds and too many options.

Though, logically you are correct but it is difficult to understand these things. I am a novice, trying to grasp nuances of these affairs.
Take the case of PE Analytic- 31 Cr issue - half OFS- same as here BBI . It was sky rocketted and still doing reasonably ok.

Tata steel will take a year or so to reach 130 and this one will reach 150 on listing that is the difference. 99% Apply for listing pop and 90% chance there for that. Issue is lucky few get that and real problem is who keep absorbing the insane CMP of SME. This is a trend and sentiment and that is the biggest thing in stock market.
