SME IPOs valuation are not cheap.. They are not leaving any thing on the table for retail just like main line IPO. We must show unity and avoid such IPOs. We should not apply blindly.... So that in future merchant bankers plan accordingly... What's your view..

Only after people apply blindly and make losses in few SME IPO they will stop applying. But in same time several will make money as euphoria may still be there at the time of listing.

From your message on Adani in this forum....Was Adanis valuation good when its price was 3400-4000 range?
With same logic even these SMEs are indian companies and need support from investors

@ipoaspire you are absolutely correct I sold 1lot 106.45 and buy again 1lot 96 rs.

This IPO seems to be a mixture of some negatives and positives:-
NEGATIVES:-
1. Maximum part is OFS & very small amount will go the company by way of fresh issue. A SME should focus on expansion rather than promoters encashing IPO amount.
2. Borrowings are on higher side. Adani is biggest example of over leveraging.
3. Profit margin is very thin (only around 1%), though revenue is quite large.
POSITIVES:-
1. Revenue is consistent.
2. Profit growth is quite good.
3. LM's last IPO (Insolation Energy) was a grand success.
4. Insolation Energy is also from Jaipur.
Adani factor is making the markets very jittery. So far, overall market has not reacted in line with the Adani shares. Let us see how it unfolds at the time of this IPO.

Know the promoter of this company. Infact, they are our suppliers. This has grown multifold in past years by the way...

Why they are selling their shares by way of OFS, if it has become profitable and growth multifold. If you get this answer please post.

Canara bank is currently holding a major chunk and they're selling their stake via this IPO. So it's majorly offer for sale.

companies are not reliable because we're not aware of their true work culture. there is a veil of secrecy about their personal lives, financial honesty & technical achievements. everything we've learnt is by trial & error only, by investing money for old age, sickness in family or unemployment spells. loss is as much a part of our life as profit. what i think is timing the buying & selling event is very important. buy when the company is down & sell when the company is high. long term relationships are not good in the stock market, you may get stuck like karna"s wheel got stuck because of his attachment to the kauravas. goodwill for the company must not be a cause for loss of hard earned, white money. so timing the exit is very important, exit as soon as the cmp nears all time high or 52 week high, you may re-enter again when the cmp nears all time low. those who go for listing gains are wise (just thinking)

Anyone holding Markolines shares?
I have 800 shares and co. is doing right issue for which they increased the lot size to 925 shares before issue opening. Now how can I sell my 800 shares now or if I don't apply for right shares?

If your share qty not matched with lot size, you can sell entire holding in one shot

Insolation Energy is also from Jaipur and it has performed exceptionally well. Against IPO price of 38, it is trading at around 140.

This is a good example of an SME IPO performing fabulously. Profit and Loss are two sides of business. We cannot generalize all SME IPO to be loss making. We have to use our brains to evaluate the STATISTICS of company and invest wisely. The rest is up to your LUCK.

Seems like only ‘Shera’ 🦁(Daring) people will apply.

Yes sir. Debt and OFS are major concerns. Margins are also not great, though this industry works in low margins.
As far as IPO is concerned, this issue seems to be very well managed. So subscriptions should be 100X in all the categories.
GMP should start soon! Jaipur se hee rate khulega abhi.. Fir dheere dheere Ahmedabad/Rajkot jayega.. 😁

There is nothing for this CO. When OFS is of 29cr and fresh issue Only of 5Cr.

All friends on this board are requested to guess GMP before it being officially announced....My guess as on date is Rs. 6

Revenues are consistent, profit growth is good but borrowings are on higher side (twice the Networth) and profit margin is quite thin (around 1% only).

Looks ++ to me considering IPO size, top line sustainability, utilisation of IPO proceeds. Valuation doesn't look cheap and margin is thin. Looking for review from DD Sir and other experts.

Looks good to me too... profit margin is reasonable for this type of industry... valuation is little bit on the higher side.

I have seen the RHP, it would be unfair to judge a company merely on basis of debit, if you notice they have sufficient assets.

Also Company's networth is 100cr. And debt equity ratio is 1.52 . A silly investor only can say such comment.
