A Company issuing shares through public or rights issue.
Receipt from any person of an amount of one lakh rupees or more for acquiring shares issued by the Company.
The amount actually received from the transacting party and not the amount relating to allotment is to be reported.

@ 166,
You may be right natrajanji, I took the figures from the website, which seems is not updated. thanks for bringing this to my notice, Have a great vacation and please do keep peeping in
Dear My rationale for splitting the money equally between RPP & MOIL is as follows: Imagine MOIL price to be 500.At this price its fairly valued at 15 PE.Now it will subscribe easily 20-25 times . RPP will also subscribe say 20-25 times . In this case allotment will be same then which share has the potential to double????? Is it MOIL or RPP.Obvious answer is RPP becos you can justify any PE for a small & speculative company.Reliance power subscribed heavily but it listed below issue price becos its fundamentals did not support Greymarket premium.NHPC,SJVNL etc which were heavily subscribed opened well below GMP becos for NHPC 30 PE that was implied by GMP was not feasible similar case with SJVNL. Coal India had good listing becos it is still at 15-16 PE. If MOIL were to double its price would be at 1000 which will make it horribly expensive & even though GMP may be 300 -400 it cannot be sustained. This reason lot of people did not understand & got stuck in companies like NHPC,RPower etc.
Remember big quality companies cannot be given arbitrary valuations based on GMP.People will buy them only if valuations are reasonable otherwise they will be dumped. Does gravita deserve 250 price ???No but why it listed at 250,reason is you can rig the price of a miniscule company such as Gravita to any price.
My prediction for MOIL Ipo is easily 20 times subscription .Retail will get 5 K worth shares & max price it may touch is 800-850.So profit will be only 2500-3000 per application which you can easily make in RPP & with little bit of luck you can make more.
I have one demat ac with Indiabulls and another demat ac with ICICIDIRECT with different addresses and different bank acs. Can i apply for an IPO from both demat acs. pls advise
Putting an application for shares worth Rs. 2.0 Lakh and purchasing shares worth Rs. 2.00 Lakh are two quite different things. In a good IPO one may still get only one lot ( i.e. shares worth Rs. 6000-7000 only)or in circumstance of heavy over subscription of say 20 times, no share at all.
Dear Panditji, MOIL half yearly EPS is 19.73 and so if it comes at around 600 to 650 it is only at 15 to 16 PE for FY 11. Moreover its book value is 120. So I don't expect it to be priced around 400. In the above price band the issue size becomes a little bigger and will be around 2200 crores.

Nagarajan ji,
Iam as ignorant as you are in this matter, being the first big issue under this new rule, one has to ascertain how many applications come in the above 2 lakh category, we will have a whole new bunch of applicants in this enhanced category and as the Retail quota is still the same, it is very difficult to comment
