How to sweep in fixed dep will be helpful without breaking the FD? in case if allotted then FD will be broken partially and loose the interest for that amount correct? further we need to pay penalty ?

If u get allotment, you gain more and loose less. However just by keeping money in saving a/c gets you only 4% ~5%, so if you get allotment before 1 year, you will get same interest rate as saving a/c and after 1 year, you will get nearly 6.5% if penal interest is 1%

You can request bank to WAVE penal interest and they do this favor, if you get approval in advance. I got this approval already.
*IndusInd and YES bank does the same.

Further better, keep 1 lot allotment money in Saving a/c and (1.5lakh) and balance keep in SWEEP IN FD, so if you get allotment, your saving account will be debited but your FD will remain intact.

Is the SWEEP facility available on Fixed Deposit with SBI through ASBA?
