I had applied but didn't get allotment.
But what i have seen is if the price doesn't cross issue price till the end of day, you shld exit at once. Only long term player >2yrs horizon shld hold.
Capital protection and also it doesnt get stuck.
Ps- in no way im creating panic, just sharing from what i have seen from hundreds of listing. Ofcourse some outliers could be their like rainbow medicare.

Don't panic.. if it's listing around 170 as it is showing then I am buyer not seller..

Weak hands already panicked and sold their shares. I will hold.

​@IPO NOOBIE 415 PE is totally misleading - this is a highly seasonal biz (they are in AC space) and 50% of sales & 65% of profit happens in Q4 alone - see Amber for like-to-like. The biz is very fairly valued (30% discount on EV / Sales, EV / EBITDA to all its peers, with similar growth rates and margins). Please don't scare others with poorly-researched opinions.

Negative start. Pathetic. This was the only recent allotment (luckily retail) in almost 15 ipos

Muthoot Micro Finance also listed in discount. Gained about 25 today on good Q3 Numbers, and currently trading around 260 and yet to reach IPO Price of 291.

The order we apply in preopen, if not executed is it valid for whole day ?
