what's the rationale behind?

Even after huge volume of 22L yesterday, Atmastco ended today with strong UC with < 6L buyer.....yesterday heavy selling was soaked very easily..... I think 150 is on cards in very near future.

​@Sharvam: I agree, 150 is already on the cards. But that will be kind of over valuation. I am expecting corrections to come around it (I can be wrong, of course); and will reenter. The Q4 results are going to boost this stock, looks good so far.

@Manan Surana: The rationale is this stock has good rallied so far and it will continue some more again, but I required funds too, so exited. I sense risk of LC in coming weeks, which will block my funds unnecessarily. I am happy with returns so far, and thus, sold it.

Sharing relative valuation of Atmastco vs fast growing peers based on FY'24E

Atmastco - 1.1x sales (at CMP)
Konstelec - 2x sales
Bondada - 3x sales
Engineers India - 4x sales
SEPC - 5x sales
Gensol - 5x sales

Similar story for PE, where the weakest ones trade at 25 PE. I've not considered the really big players like L&T or GMR

Atmastco has given guidance of 300 Cr topline and 20 cr PAT in FY'24, with another 40% growth in FY'25. One can calculate their valuation thresholds and determine personal upsides accordingly. I won't be selling anytime soon.

Looks like I jinxed it, and UC khul gaya :/ Anyway, still a very cheap biz and profit booking is expected after such a run up. Will minimum hold till H2 results because of fundamentals but can expect volatility now that UC is decisively broken

Upar niche hota hai. It can fall for 5 days, rise for 5 days. Just hold based on your own conviction. Many times you will need to wait for results to see it play out, so if not willing to wait, then you should consider booking profit whenever it hits your threshold / stop loss.

I'm very bullish on both biz, but maybe results are needed to trigger stronger move in WTI case

After T+10, it will be 20%.

​@Pran Pran : I thought, it is based on Market cap of the company. If it is less than 250 crores, the circuit limit is 5% and if above 250 crores, the limit is 20%.

Currently market cap of Atmastco is 248 crores, so once it crosses 250 crore, I thought it will enter the 20% circuit limit criteria.

Experts please advice here

It is based on issue size not Mcap. In main stream ipo if issue size is less than 250cr, then it will be traded as T2T.
And for all sme it is traded as T2T where first 10days CL is 5% after that 20%.
If 20% hit two consecutive days then CL will be 10%
If 10% hit two consecutive days then CL will come back to 5%.

Sorry not tracking Rudra deeply @DSGROW It's run up a lot and is expensive right now, but it has momentum on its side. When I don't have confidence which way it can move, I stay away.

Wow the UC is getting stronger daily. 24L shares bid at upper end, barely anyone selling.

I too am holding my allotted lot based on price action but I don't completely understand the fundamentals of these hardcore engineering companies (like Konstelec, Atmatsco, Prestonic, etc.)
I would like to read and learn more about these types of companies.

What's the plan for Sadhav listing ?

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack 🙌 My understanding is maybe similar to yours, but enough to say these guys are undervalued. They were part of the record breaking Chenab bridge construction which is a great indication of their capabilities

Sadhav my gut says <30% hold, 30-60% play by ear, >60% sell. But it's theoretical since I'm going to be on a flight from 9-11am tomorrow. LC ho ya UC, I will only see when I land

Regarding Sadhav - I was thinking of being a little conservative and to exit at any price above 140 (about 45% premium)

Few LC's will be on the way up and have to be prepared for that, lets see where it takes us.
Today overall SME space is weak barring a few names.

Yes, the ease with which UC breaks are being absorbed is amazing. Todays buyers should not be looking to exit in 1-2 days, and holders who wanted to exit, have exited. Will be interesting to see tomorrow, and I think from Thursday the 5% circuit restriction will also end. @GrayIsTheNewBlack

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack Fought it's way to a UC today also, in this market with Nifty smallcap down 2%. What a trajectory.

Yes this one really has lot of strength. Did not succumbed to panic. Other SME gave worst punch of recent times: Magson, Canays, Greenchef are other SME in my folio. Despite market index closed in positive and touched new high, my folio is down more than 4% due to small cap, mid cap and SME. Hope they recover.

​@rohiitian , Yes Atma has shown great strength today.
Some serious buying interest even at this price.
I guess the current theme itself is to ride the infra related SME stocks as long as possible (specially the ones which haven't had blockbuster listings)

The power of belief and conviction...... Incredible performance of this counter in current mayhem

​@Sharvam And it's still very cheap - 1.3x FY'24 sales, 18 PE. And <1x sales on FY'25 at 12 forward PE. No peer is anywhere close to this cheap, and this a top company in it's space and subsegment.

I hope it can get to 2x FY'24 sales soon (which is still cheap given size of order book, but atleast in line with some peers) without any heart attacks on the way. Maybe wishful thinking but let's see.
