Sir, hesitant for Alpert in pre open as even APS was in pressure today. IREDA went from LC to UC but solar stocks are cooling down recently.. will wait for a while to make a move in solar stocks. Even WAAREE LC opened after multiple sessions today.

I am pretty sure you will build conviction about the company.

Thanks @Sharvam Very insightful video - overall I'm already convinced about the biz, this just helped cement it further. Main question is what price is a good price to enter?

​@rohiitian , If for some reason listing is disappointing anything less than 2x issue price should ideally be a great deal.
Personally my funds are fully blocked in WTI. So, don't have resources to buy but If I had I won't chase it beyond 2.5x of issue price.

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack I thought the same for APS, it listed at 2.5x, and then went till 8x, settling now at 5x. Very confused here - at 2.5x also it's half the current price (by PE / PS) of APS, Insolation etc.

​@rohiitian Even i was planning to purchase the same in pre-open if it lists upto 130% premium on the expectations that it may list upper circuit post listing for some days. However as the issue size is large there can be some selling pressure seen post listing as well and that is what i am confused at. Your views would be of great help.

Expecting to open @ Rs 150/- premium.

Buying in pre open is advised only if this lists @ rs 120/- premium or less.

Brother dnt go by insolation energy as peer, i have insolation energy from IPO.

I am following every update in insolation energy, its revenue is going multifold every quarter, its having 100% growth.

Whereas this alpex solar is so inconsistent in results, with even -ve growth in one year out of last 3 year. Thats why the promoters used the best time to launch this IPO.. 90 cr IPO itself raise concerns in sme....

No IPO of this size is successful in SME yet, so be cautious every solar is not gold.

Rest upto 120% premium you can still buy it, but above it will be risky and might show you LC even post listing, dnt close your eyes by looking how small IPO performed....

Was willing to buy upto 300, but listed at 329. Order did not execute, let's see how it does.

Bought at UC as soon as I saw it moving upwards - atleast shows there's demand at this price. Fingers crossed on this one - could be very right or very wrong.

Still at 1.8x valuation of APS at 3x scale. If it can fall somewhere in between, it will be profitable for me.
