What is the procedure to open a demat account in Indira Securities?

Indira Securities doesn't allow you to open only a demat account. You have to open both demat and the trading account with the company. The account can be opened online as well as offline.

Online paperless account opening is the easiest way to open a demat account. The 15 minute instant account opening is for people who have their Aadhar linked to the current phone number for OTP verification for eSigning.

Steps to Open a Demat Account in Indira Securities

1. Go to the Indira Securities
2. Click on the 'Open an Account' green button.
3. Enter the name, phone and email.
4. Enter your Aadhar and PAN.
5. Verify Aadhar OTP.
6. Update your personal detail.
7. Upload supporting documents.
8. Submit the form.

Note that online account opening is only available to retail resident customers. It is not available to NRI, HUF, Minor and Company accounts.

To open an account offline, download the 'Account Opening Form' from the company's website. Print, fill it and attach required documents. Courier it to the address mentioned in the form.
