Jagran Prakashan Buyback vs NIIT Buyback

The Buy-back is being undertaken by the Company to:
i) Optimize returns to shareholders;
ii) Enhance overall shareholders' value;
iii) To return surplus cash to its shareholders; and
iv) To improve return on equity, by reduction in the equity base;

The Buyback is being undertaken by the Company to:
i) To return surplus funds to the Equity Shareholders; and
ii) To help improve financial ratios like earnings per share and return on equity, by reducing the equity capital of the Company.
