The Buyback aims to :
i) Return surplus cash to its Shareholders.
ii) Reduce the outstanding number of equity shares and consequently increase earnings per share and book value per share.
iii) Improve key return ratios like return on equity capital.

1. To distribute surplus cash to shareholders holding equity shares in proportion to their shareholdings.
2. To improve financial ratios like earnings per share and return on equity by reducing the company's equity base.
