Kosamattam Finance, a part of the Kosamattam is a non-deposit taking NBFC (Middle Layer) mainly engaged in the gold loan business. The company lends money against household gold jewellery. Its operations are spread across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana, along with Puducherry and Delhi.
As of September 30, 2025, the company had 11.61 lakh gold loan accounts with a total value of ₹6,13,711 lakh, accounting for over 99% of our total loans. Its gold loan accounts and portfolio value have consistently grown over the last few years.
As of December 31, 2025, the company operated 981 branches across India and employed 3,924 people.
The company offers gold loan to various customers business owners, traders, farmers, salaried employees and families. Customers can choose from different gold loan schemes based on their needs, with loan tenure of up to 12 months and the option to repay early.
The average gold loan per account was around ₹53,000–₹58,000 over the last few years. For the six months ended September 30, 2025, the total income was ₹50,515 lakh and profit after tax was ₹8,060 lakh.
Apart from gold loans, we also offer fee-based services such as microfinance, money transfer, foreign exchange, power generation, agriculture-related activities and air ticketing services.
