When placing an Intra-day buy order, ICICI Customer can choose from two square-off modes; broker and client mode.
Under client square off mode, all unexecuted Margin Buy orders and Margin Buy positions are not be cancelled/squared off by ICICI Direct during by the end of the day. These orders or positions stay in the system for up to 365 days. The responsibility to square off such positions remains with the client.
Under Broker square off mode, all unexecuted Margin Buy orders are cancelled and Margin Buy positions are squared off by the broker at the end of the day.
Note that the client mode is only available for the Intraday Margin Buy Orders.
