Market Lot (NCD)

Lot Size (NCD) is the minimum number of debentures an investor must apply for in a public issue, and applications must be in its multiples.

Market Lot (NCD)refers to the minimum number of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) that can be bought, sold, or transferred in the secondary market after listing. The market lot is specified in the issue document and determines the tradable unit on the stock exchange.

For example, if the market lot is 1 NCD, investors can buy or sell NCDs in multiples of 1 after the debentures are listed. The market lot helps standardize trading and settlement of NCDs in the secondary market.
