SME Platform

SME platform is a trading platform offered by BSE and NSE for listing and trading of SME companies in India.

A trading platform provided by the Exchange to list the specified small and medium enterprise (SME) securities. SEBI allowed SME's to get listed on SME Platform in India in 2009.

Using the SME platform is available at BSE and NSE stock exchanges in India.

SME companies can use these platforms to raise funds from the public through initial public offer (IPO) and enjoy the benefits of getting listed at stock exchanges. Companies listed at SME platform has fewer compliance in comparison to the companies listed at mainboard BSE and NSE exchanges.
