IPO Bid

Bid represents the price at which someone is willing to buy shares in IPO.

IPO Bid price can be either a fixed price or a book-built price.

  1. In a fixed-price issue, investors pay a price that is fixed by the company.
  2. In the case of book-built issues, the company specifies a price range. Investors bid within the price range and the final price is determined after the bidding process is completed.

For example, the IPO price of Sai Swami Metals and Alloys IPO is Rs 60 per share. It is a fixed-price offer. Investors can place their bids at Rs 60.
