Floor Price (OFS)

The Floor Price is for Non-Retail investors. If Non-Retail Investors bid below the floor price, their bids are rejected.

The floor price in an Offer for Sale (OFS) is specifically applicable to Non-Retail Investors (NRIs, QIBs, corporates, etc.) on Day 1 of the offer.

It represents the minimum bid price at which non-retail participants can place their bids. Any bid submitted below the declared floor price on Day 1 is rejected.

This mechanism ensures:

  • A minimum acceptable price for the seller
  • Fair price discovery among institutional and large investors
  • Orderly demand assessment before retail participation
