The process by which applicants will be selected for allotting the NCDs is called the basis of allotment.
It is a document explaining the process of selecting applicants for allotting NCDs. The allotment of NCDs depends on the total number of applications. When the issue is undersubscribed, the priority is given to RII, HNI and the remaining to NII, followed by institutional investors. If the issue oversubscribed, the allotment will be on first come first serve the basis to investors who have applied one day prior to oversubscription and the rest allotment will be on the proportionate basis. If the number of applicants is more than the left NCD number, a draw of lots will be made for the eligible investors.
