Amount on Maturity

Amount on Maturity refers to the total value an investor receives when the NCD reaches its maturity date.

Amount on Maturity refers to the total sum payable to an investor when a Non-Convertible Debenture (NCD) reaches its maturity date.

It includes the principal amount initially invested and, in the case of cumulative NCDs, the interest that has accrued and compounded over the investment period.

For non-cumulative NCDs, only the principal amount is returned at maturity, as interest is paid out periodically during the tenure.
