Who can issue shelf prospectus?

A shelf prospectus can be issued by companies that meet the following requirements:

• Listed companies (for more than three years), non-banking financial companies, National Housing Bank with
  • Net worth of at least Rs 500 crores.
  • Consistent track record for the last three years.
  • Credit rating of at least 'AA-' and above.
  • No pending regulatory action.
  • Not defaulted on any payment obligation.
• Public financial institutions.
• Infrastructure debt funds.
• Issuers are authorized by a notification from the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
