Limit for retail investors in IPO

A retail investor can invest in an IPO through different IPO categories like employee or other reserved category as shareholder or policy holder (if applicable) upto Rs 2 lakhs.

The investor can apply for more than Rs 2 lakhs using the NII category. The investment limit depends on the investor category. Below this we can have the above table.
