Zerodha offers truly brokerage free equity delivery trading and Mutual Fund investment. But it charges flat Rs 20 or 0.03% (whichever is lower) per executed order brokerage fee for trading in Intraday and F&O across Equity, Currency and Commodity segments.

Though Zerodha offers commission free trading in equity delivery, the customer has to pay other charges including Government Taxes (STT, Exchange Turnover Charges, GST, SEBI Charges and Stamp Duty), Demat Transaction Charges (Rs 13.50 flat for every debit transaction) and Demat Account AMC (Rs 300 yearly).

This is better 0 percent for Equity delivery. Whereas others charge as per the Brokarage plan one opts for . Brokrage charges are Rs25/- or 0.75 percent whichever is less. Incase some problem at their end in their server not executing order .For their fault it is customer to bear the loss ,if any. no plenty for opportunity lost by the customer on them. In nutshell charging is their motto without good service.

Dear Sir,
Zerodha charge ₹300 demat account maintenance charges. These are charged quarterly.

Except few brokers who offer lifetime free AMC (with one time deposit), all broker charges Demat AMC. Zerodha's Demat AMC is lowest among all the brokers.
