How to short sell in Sharekhan mobile app?

Short sell is a trading type where the trader first borrows shares from the stock broker to sell them at a higher prevailing rate. Later, the trader tries to buy the shares from the market at a lower price to return to the borrower. This way the trader is able to trade in securities which is owned by him.

To short-sell using Sharekhan mobile app, follow the given provided procedure:

1. Login to your Sharekhan app.
2. From the dashboard, click on Trade/Quote button.
3. Search for the share you want to buy.
4. Click on the share, from the pop-up on the screen, select "Buy".
5. On the order page, Select "Sell Against Margin" and fill other requirements like Quantity, price, etc.
6. Confirm and place the order.
7. You can check your order from the "Order Book".
