How to add nominee in HDFC securities Demat account?

You can add the nominee in the HDFC Securities Demat account either while opening the account or later.

The addition of nominees in HDFC securities at a later stage is an offline process wherein you need to submit a duly filled nomination application form to the DP office.

Steps to add a nominee in HDFC Securities Demat account:

1. Visit HDFC Securities homepage.
2. Go to Important Information at the bottom of the page and click on Forms.
3. Download the HDFC Securities Demat nomination form.
4. Provide your Demat details.
5. Add the details of the nominee. (Name, Relationship, Address, Contact No., Email ID)
6. Submit the form to the nearest DP servicing branch.

HDFC Securities Demat account nomination allows you to add up to 3 nominees.

Point to Note: Only individuals holding accounts either singly or jointly can make a nomination. Non-individuals including society, trust, body corporate, Karta of Hindu Undivided Family, holder of power of attorney cannot appoint a nominee.
