Difference between volume and turnover.

Volume refers to the total number of shares, contracts, or units traded in a specific period. It measures the market's activity level, indicating how much of an asset has changed hands. High volume usually signals strong investor interest and liquidity, while low volume may suggest less market activity.

Turnover, however, represents the total monetary value of the shares or contracts traded during the same period. It is calculated by multiplying the number of shares traded by the price per share. Turnover helps assess the financial scale of transactions and market strength.

In simple terms, volume measures quantity, while turnover measures value.
