What is the offline process for PAN card cancellation?

PAN cancellation can also be done offline through a PAN facilitation centre.

Steps:

1. Obtain and fill Form 49A
2. Mention the PAN to be surrendered/cancelled
3. Attach supporting documents and PAN copies
4. Submit the form at a Protean eGov Technologies Limited or PAN/TIN facilitation centre
5. Collect the acknowledgement receipt for tracking
